Local CRM
Private. On-device. All your devices in sync via iCloud.
Every contact, conversation and follow-up in one place, kept on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. There's no account to create and no Local CRM server, and it's free for your first 20 contacts.
iPhone, iOS 18.0 or later · iPad, iPadOS 18.0 or later · Mac, macOS 15.0 or later
Private
No account, no tracking. Nothing you add is ever sent to h2made, with iCloud sync on or off. The crash reports that help us fix bugs never include your data.
Read the privacy policyOn-device
Everything is stored on the iPhone, iPad or Mac in front of you, and search and Insights run there too. Contacts, notes and todos work without a connection.
Using Local CRM offlineAll devices in sync via iCloud
With iCloud sync, on by default, your iPhone, iPad and Mac share the same contacts, notes, todos and tags through the private database of your own iCloud account.
How iCloud sync works
Your iPhone, iPad and Mac, in sync through your own iCloud
Local CRM keeps everything on the device you're using, and iCloud sync gives all your devices the same contacts, notes, todos and tags through the private database of your own iCloud account. Nothing passes through h2made.
- Contacts, notes, todos, tags and plugin settings on every device
- Through your private iCloud database, which h2made can't access
- On by default for new installs; turning it off keeps everything on the device
Turn a business card into a contact
Scan a business card, or paste an email signature or a conversation with a customer. Local CRM reads it on your device and fills in a contact for you to check, linked to the company or Shopify merchant the person works at. With Apple Intelligence, it also writes a note and a follow-up.
- Scan cards on iPhone and iPad; paste, drop or use Continuity Camera on the Mac
- When the email or phone number matches, it fills in the contact you already have
- Read on your device; only the contact you save is kept
Find anyone, however you type it
Press ⌘K, or tap search, and type what you remember: a name without its accents, part of a phone number, a company, a tag, a line from a note. Names written in other scripts are found by their Latin spelling.
- Every field of every contact, ignoring case and accents
- Phone numbers match on their digits, however they're formatted
- Todos, notes, timeline entries and tags in the same results
10 sample contacts. Type to search them.

A timeline of every conversation
Each contact has a timeline of the calls, emails, meetings and messages you've had. Tap a phone number to call, or an email address to write, and Local CRM offers to log it when you come back.
- Calls go through Phone on iPhone, and FaceTime or Continuity on iPad and Mac
- Email opens in your default mail app
- One tap logs the interaction with the date already filled in
Follow-ups that show up on time
Todos have due times, durations and alerts. Timed todos appear on month, week and day calendars, and you reschedule one by dragging it to another slot.
- Due times, durations and alerts on any todo
- Month, week and day views
- Drag and drop to reschedule
Your contacts on a map
Local CRM places contacts on a map from their addresses, clusters them as you zoom out and filters them by tag. Each address is located once, and the result syncs to your other devices.
- Pins from postal addresses
- Clusters that split as you zoom in
- Filter by tag
See who's gone quiet
Insights charts new contacts, interactions and completed todos for the period you choose, shows when you last spoke to each person, and points out who you haven't talked to in a while.
- Interactions, new contacts and todos by day, week or month
- Lapsed contacts: no logged interaction in 90 days
- Who to reconnect with, and who you talk to most
Your app installs become clients
For Shopify app developers: the Shopify Partners plugin reads your apps' events through the Partner API and turns each shop that installs into a client, with its history, tags, plan details and a follow-up todo.
- One client per shop, linked by shop ID so it's never duplicated
- A timeline entry for every install, uninstall and charge
- Notifications for new and returning clients
Also in Local CRM
Every field your Contacts app has
Contacts in Local CRM have the same fields, labels, name order and address formats as the Contacts app on your iPhone and Mac, so nothing gets lost on the way in.
- Import everyone from Contacts, or only the people you pick with iOS 18 limited access
- Local CRM reads your Contacts app and never writes to it
- Share any contact as a vCard
Notes, tags and the people around them
Keep Markdown notes on anyone, group contacts with colored tags, and link related people, such as a client's assistant or whoever introduced you.
- Notes are written in Markdown
- Colored tags for groups, stages and anything else you sort by
- Related people link two contacts in both directions
Today, at a glance
Home shows what's due today and over the next seven days, upcoming birthdays, and the contacts and todos you worked on most recently.
- Today's todos and the next 7 days
- Upcoming birthdays
- Recent contacts and todos, newest first
Careful by default
Every delete asks first and says what's kept. Colors meet WCAG contrast in light, dark and Increase Contrast. Text follows Dynamic Type on iPhone and iPad.
- Confirmations that name what's deleted and what's kept
- Contrast checked in every appearance
- In English, French, German and Spanish

Questions
All questionsWhere is my Local CRM data stored?
On your device. With iCloud sync on, as it is by default, it's also kept in the private database of your iCloud account, so your other devices can sync with it. There is no Local CRM server, and h2made never receives your contacts, notes or history.
How do I keep my iPhone, iPad and Mac in sync?
Sign in to the same Apple Account on each of them. iCloud sync is on by default for new installs, so those devices share contacts, notes, todos, tags and plugin settings through your private iCloud database, which h2made can't access. You can turn it off on any device in Settings → iCloud; the change takes effect when you restart Local CRM.
Does Local CRM work without an internet connection?
Yes. Everything is stored on your device, so contacts, notes, todos, the timeline and search all work offline. With iCloud sync on, changes you make offline sync when you're back online. Loading the map, syncing the Shopify plugin and buying Pro need a connection.
Which devices does Local CRM run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later, and Mac with macOS 15.0 or later. It's one app across all three, so buying Pro on one device unlocks it on the others signed in to the same Apple Account.
Can I import my existing contacts?
Yes. Local CRM imports from the Contacts app: everyone, or only the people you allow with iOS 18's limited access. It reads your Contacts and never writes to them, so your address book stays as it is.
Notes stored in the Contacts app aren't imported, because reading them needs a permission Apple only grants on request.
Can Local CRM scan business cards?
Yes. Choose Capture Contact from the + menu, or press ⌥⌘N with a keyboard, and scan the front and back of a card with your iPhone or iPad. You can also pick a photo or screenshot, paste an email signature or a conversation, or drop in a vCard; on a Mac, take the photo with your iPhone through Continuity Camera. Local CRM fills in a contact for you to check before saving, and links it to the company or Shopify merchant whose website or email domain it found. If the email address or phone number matches someone you already have, the new details are added to that contact and nothing there is replaced.
With Apple Intelligence on iOS, iPadOS or macOS 27, Local CRM also writes a note about a conversation and a follow-up todo for anything left open. On earlier versions, or with Apple Intelligence off, it finds the emails, phone numbers, websites and addresses, and you check the name, job title and company. Capture Contact works on the Free plan too. How the scan stays on your device.
Does the scan leave my device?
No. Local CRM reads the card, screenshot or text on your device, with Apple's on-device text recognition and, where it's available, the on-device Apple Intelligence model. It never uses Private Cloud Compute, nothing is sent to h2made, and the camera is used only for scanning.
The images and text aren't kept. Once you save, only the contact, note and todo you checked are stored, and with iCloud sync on they sync through your private iCloud database like everything else. Crash reports never include anything you capture.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
No. The Free plan is the way to try Local CRM: it has every feature except Insights, for as long as you like.
What happens to my data if Pro ends?
Nothing is deleted or locked. Limits only stop you from adding more: everything you have stays readable, searchable, editable and syncing, and you can still share contacts as vCards. How the limits work.
